The new cod stall of Bacallaneria Perelló in the brand new opened Mercat del Ninot (Ninot Market) in Barcelona is a project aiming at recovering the essence of traditional cod stalls.
Perelló 1898, a centenary company present in the most iconic markets of Barcelona, is specialized in the sale of cod, olives, pickles and preserved food to keep the excellence of its products.
In the new project herein, the presence of large refrigerated displays made of white Macael marble organizes product exhibition in the sales area. Those independent displays are in different sizes, heights and with curved finishes. They have been randomly structured over a large continuous black stoneware base, where every piece has been personalized by marking the surface with the schematic and geometrical drawing of a cod piece.
