Barcelona, 2014
The new Buenas Migas restaurants in Plaza España and Sagrada Familia – Barcelona, were born by the idea of using the premises of the first project we did in Plaza Universidad, and simultaneously adapting both to the new requirements of our client, and to the existing conditions of the new locations.
We were required to adapt the projects to nighttime to allow them to have extended opening hours until dinnertime, and invite the clientele to consume alcoholic beverages. This new requirement had to coexist with the image of a cozy place where to taste Italian food and English desserts. Products that they already serve and, therefore, allowing not to miss their existing brand image.
To achieve this, we have used a variety of materials such as: black marble, brass and glass, and we have enhanced darker colors – to be more in line with the new requirements- and we have placed a glassware display on the counter that makes us think of Nightlife and drinks.

Project leader: Olga Pajares
Colaborators: Anabel Cortina, Anna Torndelacreu
Surface: 81,50 m2
Client: Buenas Migas
