Girona, 2003

Know on occasion as the Catalan Tuscany, the region of the Empordà in the region of Girona enjoys a privileged climate all year around and a magical landscape composed of small medieval villages, thick poplar grove and pine. The Mediterranean coastline known as the Costa Brava is dotted with coves bathed in turquoise-coloured waters. In the heart of the Baix Empordà, about ten kilometres inland, is Regencós, a small village of mediaval origin and stone-built houses. It was historically a village of ceramists, with the church tower dominating its silhouette.
